Turn of the Century Beauty
I’m Baaaccckkk!
It’s only been 10 years since my last post on my blog, 9411RenoV8. Life happened. I started the blog when we renovated our first home. I’m excited to be blogging again and will promise not to post just once every 10 years!
I’ll just jump right into my newest project. There have been many in between…some for our family and some for others. I wish I’d blogged but as I said, life happened.
Corte Madera is where it’s at! Marin County, 10-15 degrees warmer than SF, cleaner streets, parking, no fog, parking, deer and squirrels and turkeys. You can eat dinner outside and not blow away! AND DID I MENTION PARKING?
Here she is! Our turn of the century beauty. Cedar shake siding, hip roof, a few lead windows. This house has incredible character and we are doing a light remodel/refresh on her. The house was owned by the Pingree family in 1900 and Bessie Pingree started Pingree Realty in 1913. How fitting that I would buy this house!
